Tips on how to mark in a list box

In list boxes marked with an * by the variable name, you must select at least one value. In list boxes where no * is shown by the variable name, you don’t need to select a value. If no value is selected, the variable is eliminated.

To select all lines in a list box

  • Mark all lines by pressing the button
  • Mark the first line in the list box and then press SHIFT and END simultaneously.

To deselect all lines in a listbox

  • Deselect all lines by pressing the button  

To select more than one line in a list box

  • Mark several lines in a row in a list box by clicking the left mouse button and drag the mouse over the requested lines. Or, mark one line and then press SHIFT at the same time as you press the up or down arrows on the keyboard.
  • Mark several lines in separate rows by pressing CTRL at the same time as you mark the requested lines with the left mouse button.

To deselect one line in a list box

  • Deselect one line in a list box by pressing CTRL at the same time as you click the left mouse button.

To search for a specific value in the list box

  • Type text in given field. Press the button  
    Lines in the listbox containing the text will be marked.
  • Searching can be limited to the beginning text of each line in a list box.
    Check the box and repeat the search according to instruction above.
    Only the lines with the matching beginning text will be marked.
  • Mark the first line in a list box and type the first letter in the requested value. Repeat until you find the right value or use the up or down arrows on the keyboard or the left mouse button.
